Your Time To Make A Difference
2019-2020 Apply to the Clinton Global Initiative University
About CGI U
Calling Social Innovators!
Put your ideas into action! This fall semester, Nazareth students have the opportunity to submit project applications to the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U). This project is called a Commitment to Action: new, specific, and measurable initiatives that address pressing challenges. If your project is selected, you will travel to the CGI U Spring Training in Scotland (you read that correctly!) hosted by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, further develop the project, and then put the plan into action. Accepted students will join 600 college students and leaders from around the world at the CGI U training in Scotland from April 17-19, 2020.
Students can propose individual projects from five focus areas:
- Education,
- Environment and Climate Change,
- Peace and Human Rights,
- Poverty Alleviation, and
- Public Health.
Travel scholarships are available. Funding for projects may also be available.
More information about CGI U is available at www.cgiu.org
